Founded in 1992 by Mark Thomas and ( vale ) Phil Robinson.
As synchronised embarks on its 30-year anniversary in 2022, we have been fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work on many projects and called upon when thinking of outside the box is required and providing tested and engineered solutions.
We are a NATA accredited facility in accordance with ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 and specialist remedial builders, called upon to use both our testing and building knowledge to resolve complex issues.
Our moto, we test to test regardless of the outcome, it may pass a test but doesn’t automatically mean compliant which takes knowledge and experience to explain why.
We are independent and have a mandate for ethical testing and honesty in our results. We are well known for our extensive works and knowledge of all types of barriers, steel, alloy, glass and composite on high rise buildings and shopping centres for over 15 years, and our services extend well beyond this discipline.
Testing is not only only about the equipment we own and use and have invented for industry, its our extensive knowledge that is more important. We are a solutions-based company and thrive on trouble shooting complex issues with a thirty plus year heritage in structures. We pride ourselves on the investigation process of problems in products and buildings and structures. We are advocates for safety and products that are not only structurally adequate but can also perform with such reliability.
Our Story
Synchronised was founded in 1992, in the remedial sector. All onsite testing up to 1000kN as per our charter and expertise in all types of anchoring systems, actually began anchor testing for our own use back in 1998 and this expertise is relied upon greatly. Synchronised is accredited by NATA, (17275) to AS/NZS 17020 and undertakes testing to the strictest and safest requirements and to relevant Australian and International Standards.
With extensive knowledge of anchorages and substrates spanning nearly 20 years, we have the expertise to assist you.Mark Thomas the Managing Director began his career at age 19 and has over 30 years’ experience in the construction fields and brings invaluable expertise to challenging and technical onsite testing requirements. He has worked on many landmark projects in varying disciplines which ensures a safer workplace.
Mark is involved with industry associations, incident investigations and will guide you with industry reforms. In addition he is an inventor of highly specialised testing equipment.

Our Equipment
All of our equipment is state of the art and calibrated in accordance with the requirements of NATA , testing performed in Tension or Compression and or combined reactionary forces up to 1000kN ( 100 Tonne .)
Our procedures for testing and rigs have been developed over the last 15 years and are designed for the rigors of safety, accuracy and durability.
We place strong emphasis on R & D to remain at the centre of accuracy and traceability.
Services extend to testing to these references both onsite and inhouse for verification tests and to also include new products and designs and feasibility from concept through to the finished product.
Capacity ; Force in Tension and Compression from 10 Newtons up to 1000kN ( 0.1kg to 1000 kilograms).
